Over the past couple decades the youth group has grown and changed. A number of the Simpcw members have been involved in some form or another over that time. Today, we have a very active youth program involving approximately 85% of our community youth; range between the ages of 8 – 18. A Youth Worker assists the Simpcw Youth to plan activities, trips, fundraising, recreation/cultural opportunities and set long-term goals. It is also the mandate of the Simpcw Youth to participate in community events and share information with the Simpcw Elders’ on a monthly basis to provide an update on their activities and receive direction from Elders’ on different issues.
Accomplishments over the years:
- Field trips
