EVENT CALENDAR

Dunn Lake Road Realignment

Completed Works:

The crews completed works north of the SRG yard where there were areas remaining due to bird nesting.

Planned activities for next week:

Complete any  remaining nested areas. Upon completion, the crew will start the additional works as per B.C. Hydro’s request of the 1m along the eastern ROW from SRG yard to the community. There will be an excavator working roadside to complete the access for hydro pole relocation. Decking of the merchant timber will be starting next week, with logs moving off site end of week/the following week.

 Environmental:

The end of bird nesting season is nearing the end, so the main focus is to ensure any active nests are still protected, while any inactive nests have the work zone cleared as soon as possible.

Thank you,

Brittany Simpson
