Dunn Lake Road Realignment

Completed Works:

Progress on the Dunn Lake Road is continuing. Crews have gotten into an area of denser brush. We are considering bringing a mechanical mower and brusher head to help accelerate the schedule to keep us on pace. We’ve begun the access pad construction for the BC Hydro power pole relocation.

Planned activities for next week:

Complete the area at the community (Sta.149+00 to Sta 159+400). Traffic control is to be expected. There will be a crew brought in to complete utility locates along the project corridor.

Environmental:

Bird sweepers will be out this weekend to complete our commitments in advance of the brushing crews. Permits for work in riparian areas are still under review, so work will continue outside of these buffers. No other environmental issues of note.

Thank you,
