Community Watch Meeting

COMMUNITY WATCH

The community watch group has started meeting on a regular basis. We are an organized group devoted to the prevention of crime and vandalism. Our group consists of 5 dedicated individuals.

The committee discusses any previous activities, they plan, prepare and recommend issues for better safety within our community.

We document any suspicious activities and/or vehicles. Periodically the activities will be forwarded to the RCMP for their records.

Any serious crimes or crimes in process are reported directly to the RCMP.

We have requested signage be put up at both ends of the reserve boundary. With the holiday season quickly approaching, we are encouraging the RCMP to set up road blocks more frequently.

If you are interested in being involved or you just want to report a suspicious activity, please feel free to contact me at 250-319-0459.
